It’s a family affair!
Despite my best efforts, none of my kids were interested in majoring in the sciences. However, after the plans were being drawn for Room To Grow, I realized that we all possessed different talents that could uniquely contribute to the business.

As a kid, I got the usual basketballs and footballs for Christmas but I was always a science nerd. I remember getting super excited when I got my first chemistry set at age 8! It was a “Mr. Wizard Chemistry Set.” Eventually, I became fascinated with plants. I thought, “How could they go from seeds to plants to trees all by themselves?” My grandmother “Sissy” lived in a small townhouse but grew everything under the sun. I loved visiting and talking for hours about her vegetables! After graduating high school, I attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Botany.

Takeia allmond
Wife of Chauncey, Takeia is the administrative glue that holds Room To Grow. Takeia is also an excellent cook who loves the Food Network and watching Chip and Johanna Gaines. Constant family argument, “Chauncey we don’t need to grow ANYTHING else!” She can be found on IG: @mrs_allmond
JC Allmond, III
JC, the oldest son, handles all calculations for soil requirements, fertilizer application rates, and build dimensions, He holds a math degree from the University of Texas (Austin). JC teaches high school Algebra and Calculus. He also has a calculus YouTube channel. IG: @allmondwiththesauce
Jaylen allmond
Jaylen is responsible for all creative design at Room To Grow. This including merchandise design for customer-facing product delivery and shipment. Jaylen earned Associates in Business Management in 2020 from Collin College. She is also a professional photographer. She can be found on IG @jovianmoons
Cameron allmond
Cameron is responsible for new client development. Cameron holds a Communication degree from Baylor University and owns his own clothing line, Cavalier. Cameron is credited with coming up with the name “Room To Grow.” Cam can be found on IG: @corporate.cam
